Group Information - Neighbourhood Watch Jindalee

The Jindalee Neighbourhood Watch group started in 1992. Jindalee groups 3 and 4 merged in 2014 and now the group represents the entire suburb of Jindalee. We deliver approximately 1400 newsletters as well as operate this Blog, a Facebook page, a community noticeboard at Boat ramp park and an email tree. We meet the first Wednesday of every 2nd month at the Jindalee State School staff room. We endeavour to keep the residents of Jindalee alert to crime in the area and encourage a sense of community. We ask all residents to keep an eye out for their neighbours and report anything untoward to police. We work closely with our local Police Beat officer who keeps us informed of crime in the area and attends our meetings. We pass on crime messages and prevention tips by email, blog, Facebook and noticeboard. We hope to reach all residents to keep them alert and help reduce crime in our suburb.
